TourBlog - Day 1: Cleveland. What can you say about a venue with stencils of Johnny Thunders on the front and back door, The Avengers LP mounted on the wall, The Buzzcocks, Only Ones, Dead Boys, Fear, Descendents and Minor Threat blaring, and a sink full of vomit before 10:30? it was a punk-rock night. The crowd was a little on the thin side but appreciative and generous and the Spitfire Saloon staff was too. Dinner at the diner up the street was served with no shortage of "Hon"s and "Sweetie"s and made for a good base to soak up the whiskey. Ian Hunter was right. See you again Cleveland!
